It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arnold Winget on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital.
Only son of the late Norma Labonte and the late Richard Winget.
Arnold will be remembered by his wife Kim Passey, son Ryan and daughter Norma- Jean (Etienne). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Riley and Logan whom he adored.

My sincerest condolences to Kim and the family. I had many good laughs with Arnold and good memories from attending Galt. He was one the good guys. I regret not dropping by to say hello once in a while although I thought about it on more than one occasion. I’m sure my younger brother Ron and Arnold will find each other’s company “up there.” Rest in Peace.
May my support warm your heart

I had the privilege to spend time with him during our youth days in Lennoxville. Our adult lives brought us on different routes but his warmth and joie de vivre were what made him such a good friend.
Our most sincere thoughts to Kim, Ryan and Norma-Jean. He will be forever with you.

I have many fond memories from when we first met in Lennoxville.
I am grateful for our renewed friendship on my work visits to Montreal when I would rent a car and take off for the Eastern Townships.
I will miss you, my friend. Thinking of you, Kim, Ryan and Norma-Jean
