It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Jean Moore (nee Patterson) on Monday the 28th of October after a brief illness at the age of 99.
She was the daughter of Robert Patterson of the village of East Bolton, now Austin, and his wife Susie Bryant.
She was predeceased by her loving husband James Moore and her son Peter. She was also predeceased by her brothers Harold, John and Stanley Patterson, her sisters Irene Johnston and Mabel Nelson, as well as other siblings who died before the age of maturity.
She leaves to mourn her sons Stephen (Valerie), David and Robin (Francesca), her daughters Christine (Robert) and Heather (Jeffrey), as well as 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Saturday, November 30 as of 1 p.m. followed by a family ceremony at 3 p.m.
After the service, we will gather for a luncheon at the Hall of the Plymouth-Trinity Church, 380 Rue Dufferin, Sherbrooke, QC J1H 4M7 to remember our Mother who will be greatly missed. Please bring your fondest memories to share with family and friends.
The burial and committal service at the MacPherson Cemetery in Georgeville will be held at a later date.
