1926 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fern Elizabeth Thompson (nee Byron)  of Clarence Creek, ON. formerly of Lennoxville, Que. on Monday, April 07, 2025 at the age of 98.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas Gordon Thompson.

Dear daughter of the late Willard Byron and the late Alice White.

Loving mother of Virginia (Bill Mates), Carol (late Bob Puddester), Lynda (Robert Godin), and the late Stephen (loving companion Suzie Beauvais).

Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and great grandmother of 12.

Dear sister of the late Velma Sullivan and the late Joan Baldwin.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years (Douglas) in 2006 as well as her only son, Stephen in 2019.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Laurier Manor, 3rd floor West for their compassionate care and kindness.

Funeral service will be held at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Lennoxville, Que. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11 am. followed by interment  at Malvern Cemetery.
