Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer at the Magog Hospital June 1st, 2021, in his 63rd year. Son of the late Oral Smith and Mary Rose Lyonnais.
He leaves behind his wife of 39 years Elaine Roberts. Loving father to Laurie Smith (Stephane Gagné), Kelly Smith and Maxime Lamontagne (Annie Ouellet).
Adored grandfather to Zachary Fauteux Smith (Anaeve Lamontagne), Logon Fauteux Smith, Lucas Fauteux Smith, Dylan Lamontagne and Madison King.
He also leaves to mourn his brothers, John Smith (Belinda Smith) and Raymond Smith. His sister Diane Smith and Angel Laro. Sister-in-law Kathy Roberts (Fraser Baikie) and brothers-in-law Ricky Roberts (Charlotte Roberts) and Kenny Roberts.
Also left behind are many nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff at the Magog hospital for the compassionate care.
A graveside service and burial of ashes will be held at the Crystal Lake cemetery in Stanstead at a later date.
