Hazel May Perkins (born Frost)
March 18, 1927 - December 11, 2021
Died in Sherbrooke, on December 11, in her 94th year. Loving daughter of the late John Frost and late Beatrice Beard. Devoted wife of the late Leslie Noah Perkins.
Beloved mother to Bruce (Mariette Coyle), Avery (Ginette Coyle) and Irwin Perkins (Sonya Leroux), loving grandmother to Sandra Perkins (Daniel Gourde), Danny Perkins, Olivia Perkins (Maxime Desrochers) and Leslie Perkins as well as four great grandchildren: Logan and Lewis Gourde, Jake and Zack Desrochers-Perkins.
She leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: Stuart (Huguette Deslandes), late Ivan, Margaret (late Martin Pedersen), Robert (Donalda Royal), Clarence (Julia Royal), Russell (Susan C. Mastine). She was the sister-in-law to late Evelyne Perkins (late Charles Barlow).
She also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will take place at Danville Protestant cemetery in 2022.
Special thanks and appreciation to the caregivers at the Residence Ferland of Danville and the CHUS Hotel-Dieu for their dedicated care of our mother.

I had the pleasure of knowing Hazel when my Dad was at the Ferland Residence. She was a very talented lady and her knitting talents were just extraordinary. I have two pairs of slippers that she knitted just for me and I love them. Hazel was a social person who loved visitors. Unfortunately, I did not visit Hazel when Dad left the Ferland as he needed my help in his new residences. The Covid regulations also put a stop to many visits. Rest in peace, my friend.
