Henri est décédé paisiblement au CHUS Fleurimont, après une brève maladie. Il était l’époux de feu Joan Hodge avec qui il a été marié pendant 66 ans.
Il fut un père extraordinaire pour Robert (Michelle), Randy (Sylvie), Ricky (Janet), Karen (Pierre), Shelley (Marie-Claude) et Tracie.
Outre ses 6 enfants, il laisse dans le deuil 13 petits-enfants, 19 arrière-petits-enfants, un arrière-arrière-petit-enfant et sa soeur Pauline Dougherty (feu Gerry).
Il était tout ce qu'un enfant pouvait espérer d’un père. Il était calme et toujours présent pour ses proches. C'était un homme travaillant et sa famille n'a jamais manqué de rien.
Il nous manquera mais son amour et les souvenirs qu’on a de lui resteront toujours gravés dans notre coeur.
La famille recevra les condoléances à la Résidence funéraire Cass, 3006 rue Collège, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), le vendredi 19 mai de 14h à 16h30 et de 18h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu à l'église Anglicane St-Paul de Bury, le samedi 20 mai à 14h00, immédiatement suivies de l'inhumation à Eaton Corner et d'un rassemblement amical autour d’un repas au Centre communautaire de Bury.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’avc seraient appréciés. https://www.coeuretavc.ca/
