It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Gilchrist on June 29, 2021 at the age of 69. Joan was the loving daughter of the late Herbert Gilchrist and the late Dorothy Stevens.
She leaves to mourn her brother Harold (Dianne Laramée), brother John (LeeAnn St. Onge), sister Judy (late Albert McBean), sister Heather, brother Robert(Cheryl Gosselin and the late Nancy Salter), brother Richard (Carolyn Leonard) and her many nieces and nephews.
The family are grateful for the care she received from Mrs. Nancy Leclerc while Joan lived with her for many years. A special thank you to the staff at the CHSLD Asbestos for their kind and compassionate care she received since her placement in 2017.
A private family service will be held at the Trenholm Cemetery.
