Passed away peacefully at the Asbestos Hospital on Wednesday, March 2nd,2016. Beloved husband of Joan Elizabeth Fowler (Laxson); cherished father of Brent (Tracy), Dwayne (Elaine) and Shawn (Tanya) ;adored grandfather of Brandon, Brianna, Brittany, Sarah, Emily, Madison and Tyler ; left to mourn by brother Roderick, sister-in-law Phyllis, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr.Vezina, all of the staff on the 9th floor of the CHUS and the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Asbestos Hospital for their excellent care during Lewis`final days.
Visitation will be held at the Cooperative Funeraire de l`Estrie in-Asbestos ( 240 rue du Roi ), Quebec, on Monday, 7th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. interment to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers , donation tothe CHUS foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
