Lorraine Kingsley-Little, born September 7, 1951, passed away October 20, 2023 at Hotel Dieu in her 73rd year. She spent her last days surrounded by family and friends.
Lorraine devoted the better part of her life to nursing at the former Sherbrooke hospital (Argyle).
She leaves to mourn her husband Arthur Little, her children Devon Little, (Peter J. Kasowski), Jonothan Little, (Samantha Dodwell), Sharla Little, (Scott Brault) and Robyn Grey.
She also leaves to mourn, her sisters Carol Kingsley (the late Roger Turner), Linda Kingsley (Lionel Hamilton), her brothers, the late Frank Kingsley, Martin Kingsley (Ruth Jarvis Reid) David Kingsley, her grand-children Zachary, Justin, Joseph, Phaedra, Arabella, Trystin, Parker, Mason, Westley, Morgan, and Maeve, Kiana & Kaely, her adoptive grand-children Mykah & Oliver. She will be missed by her in-laws, the late Wayne Little (Nancy Wakefield), the late Vance Little, Sandra Little (Yoland Fortin) as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Lorraine will be laid to rest at the Eaton cemetery with her parents, the late Noel Kingsley & Madeline Buttemer. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Carol Kingsley for being by her side every day in the palliative care unit. We would also like to thank Doreen Cairns & Reverend Tami Spires for their support and kind words, in our time of need.
We would like to thank Dre Vanessa Dufour, Dre Dubé, Agathe Wuilleme, Stephanie Debbah, Vincent Gagné and the entire palliative care teams at Magog & Hotel Dieu for their exceptional care of Mrs Kingsley.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to either The Canadian Cancer Society, ALS Society of Canada or CAB Rediker Stanstead.
