Paisiblement à son domicile, le 19 juin 2023 à l'âge de 80 ans, est décédé entouré de sa famille, M. Raymond A. Fortier, époux de Lynne Whittingstall de Melbourne. Il était le fils de feu Gérald Fortier et de feu Blanche Smithers.
Époux de Lynne depuis 55 ans et père bien-aimé de Tony (Beth), Michael (Keitha), Mark (Brigitte), grand-père de Jarred, Trevor, Dylan, McGwire, Brett, Erica, Alyssa, Hannah et Ethan.
Il était le frère de feu John (Shirley), feu Estelle (George), David (Ellie) et feu Paul (Judy). Il laisse également dans le deuil ses beaux-frères : Douglas (Sherrill), Terry (Lucie), Wayne, Bruce (Céline) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.
La famille recevra les condoléances à la Résidence funéraire Cass, 295, rue Principal Sud, Richmond le vendredi 7 juillet de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel des soins à domicile du CLSC de Richmond pour leurs soins exceptionnels et leur gentillesse.
Des dons à la fondation Wales Home seraient grandement appréciés.

I am so sad to hear that Raymond passed away. He was such a nice guy, always ready to help. He looked forward to hunting season every year and I was lucky enough to spend many years enjoying that time with him. I liked hearing his trapping and hunting stories and he enjoyed telling them. He was a great friend and I will miss him.
Unfortunately, Monique and I won't be able to be with you tomorrow as I'll be having medical tests done at a hospital in Montreal and the tests can't be re-scheduled.
