It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Tebby Jr., who passed away on August 12, 2026, Richmond, QC.
Bill was born on September 22, 1948, son of William Tebby and Elizabeth Stocks.
Cross country skiing, biking and cheering on the Montreal Canadiens
are things that we will remember about him. He was a dedicated cyclist
and spent countless hours on the bike trail between Lennoxville and North
Hatley and was proud to let us know how fast he could get there and back!
He leaves to mourn his brother Bobby (Charlotte); two children
Penny (Donald) and Steve (Jenn); his 3 grandchildren Nicole (Mathieu),
Travis (Amelia) and Jane (Charles); 5 great-grandchildren; as well as his
niece, nephew, friends and colleagues.
A private family ceremony will take place at a later date.

My sincere condolences to the family.
I’m very grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Bill at Sherbrooke Elementary School.
I believe that SES was Bill’s second home. He worked hard and was dedicated to sustaining our facilities for all the years that he was there.
I always knew I could rely on Bill. He was a great support.
Bill had a good sense of humour I will hold onto the joy of the pranks we shared.
I will miss him. May he rest in peace.
May my support warm your heart
