Barbara Joan Hill (Harden)
(1943-2026)
Barbara Hill (Harden), age 82, recently of Lennoxville, Quebec, passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke on January 7, 2026. She was born November 25, 1943, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, daughter of the late Winnifred McManus and Osborne Harden. She grew up in Waterville, Quebec.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Leon E. Hill, at which time she returned to the Eastern Townships to live closer to her relatives.
Barbara was an avid reader and worked at a library in Massachusetts for several years. She later worked at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center-The Goddard Center in Stoughton, Massachusetts as Practical Manager/Administrator in the office until she retired.
She is survived by siblings Shirley (Brian Young), John (Linda Beattie), Robert (Lesley Laird), Linda (Ralph Bird), and Marleen. She will be greatly missed by them, her many nieces and nephews and the many friends she made throughout her life.
As per Barbara’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or services.
