Grant passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu in Sherbrooke on June 6th, 2021 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by his parents George Purdy and Sheila Standish. He leaves to mourn his life partner Barbara Lloyd and her daughter Jody. He will also be missed by many friends.
Grant was a kind and gentle person who was always willing to help others. He loved country living and had a huge appreciation for nature. He loved bird watching, fishing, and hosting BBQs with friends.
In Grant’s honour, we ask that you spend quality time with a loved one.
A private ceremony will take place at a later date.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Grant. I believe this is the person that worked for his uncle ( Lawrence Purdy) as did I during the summers during the late 60's. I hadn't seen or heard from Grant in the past 50 years and am saddened to hear of his sudden death.

He was not a kind and gentle soul. Therefore you left his actual blood family out. Thank you for calling my mother a cunt as she lay dying. I hope the bush treats you well. I hope his soul burns for what he did to us.
