It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the talented and beloved Donna Joy Trippear Mills, age 74, of St-Felix de Kingsey. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 15, 2022 in her home after a battle with cancer.
Donna was born on July 9, 1948 to Basil Trippear and Beverly Campbelton in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Donna leaves behind to mourn her loving husband of 55 years Sydney Mills.
Her children: Stacy (Steve), Kelly, Ricky (Ella).
Her grandchildren: Mackenzie (Elaine), Jessica, Isaac, Ethan, Jacob, Brook-Lynn, Ayden, Jenna, and Kaleb.
Her great grandchild: Barry
She also leaves to mourn her brothers: Billy, Kent and Raymond (Jose). And she was the sister-in-law of Haroldine, Wayne (late) and Dora (late). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Donna kept her love for playing music until the very end.
On Saturday November 26, 2022 at 10:00am, the family will receive condolences at the United Church in Trenholm, 95, rte 243, followed by a service at 11:00am. lead by Reverend Jennings.
Please join us in celebrating Donna’s life and her love for music at 1:00pm, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 235 Rue du College N, Richmond Quebec.
We wish to thank the staff of the CLSC Drummond for their kindness and devotion. We would also like to thank all our family, friends and neighbors who have helped us through these difficult times. Donations to the Trenholm United Church Fund c/o Jennifer Knowles would be greatly appreciated.

I knew the day was coming, but a shock just the same. Her love of music was her passion. I am proud to have called her my friend, not just a friend but a precious friend.
