It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline (Jackie) Harper (née Ouellette). Jackie passed peacefully on July 17, 2019 at the age of 90, with family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Harper, sister to Renee, Gaston and Guy Ouellette. Caring mother to Edward and Dana Harper. Grandmother to Guillaume Champeau Harper. We will cherish her smile, love and memories forever.
Visitation will be held at the Cooperative Funeraire de l’Estrie, 146 Rue Angus, East Angus QC at 11:00 a.m. followed by prayers at 11:50 a.m. on August 3, 2019. It was her request that the visitation be limited to immediate family members.

We only have so many grandmothers in one life, and mine where truly golden. Each in their way true emblems of love. And love did Jacquie give me with every moment we spent together. But not only love: the best damn chocolate chip cookies ever made on the planet. She took my side. She spoiled me. She listened when no one else did. She was and is still is a beautiful part of me, even from the other side. I miss her already, but I know we will catch up someday.
