Stevens, James "Jim" Calvin
Passed away peacefully at The Wales Home in Cleveland, Quebec on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his loving wife Norene Stevens. Dear father of Donald (Laurinda), Debra (Shannon McTaggart) and Carol (Allen Ezer). Grandfather of Mikayla (Justin), Aaron (Alyssa), Ryan (Maddison), Connor (Natalie) and Emily (Jacob). Great grandfather of Kane and Prestyn. Jim also leaves to mourn his brothers; Weldon (late Jackie) and Bill (late Joyce) along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nephews, nieces and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Russell Stevens and Alice Brock, his siblings Marge (Ed Smith), Isobel (Douglas Dykeman), Walter (Margaret) and Edna.
We want to thank all of the Wales Home staff for the excellent care they gave Jim.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held in the Trenholm United Church on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 2pm with Rev. Reginald Jennings officiating. Please note, the family will be at the church 1 hour prior to the service to receive condolences. Interment in the Trenholm cemetery following the service.
