Melinda was born in West Stewartstown, N. H. On December 5, 1954 to Clayton and Thelma Flanders, of Columbia, N.H. She was the youngest of ten children, three brothers and seven sisters. She leaves behind three sisters, Andrea Coyer of Jacksonville, FL; Cheryl Flanders of Berlin, N. H.; and Suzanne McKinnon of Berlin, N. H.
Melinda grew up in Columbia, N.H. and graduated from Colebrook Academy. She had a very kind heart and generous soul. She believed in living life to the fullest everyday.
She met her husband George McLeod of Sherbrooke, Quebec Canada and moved there, eventually becoming a dual citizen of the US and Canada.
Melinda resided in Sherbrooke until her death on July 22, 2026.
