On October 31, 2026, our beautiful Mom passed away. We are certain that she and Dad (Norman Noel) had the most wonderous reunion in Heaven.
Rita Ellen Dole was born in 1932, to Richard and Gladys, in Greenly, QC. She is survived by her sister Vivian, and predeceased by siblings Hazel, Mavis, and Robert.
Mom and Dad met working at Domtar, married and went on to have four girls: Linda (John), Carol (Mike), Carmen (Steve), Donna (Bill). Life became sweeter with the birth of their grandchildren Ryan (Pascale), Virginia (Ian), Noel (Emily), Colin (Jenna) and Elise (Preyag), and great-grandchildren Ciaran and Levi.
Rita worked at the Wales Home for 30 years. Following retirement, she volunteered with various community groups, including the Church and local high school. She loved painting, and filled her home and those of her family with cherished examples of her art.
Visitation will take place November 6, 2026, at Cass Funeral Home, Richmond, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A private funeral service will follow.
