LAPRISE, DORA. Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, June 26, 2023. Dora Elizabeth Laprise (nee Beland). Wife of the late André Laprise (1979). Cherished mother of Jay (Christine) and Tammy (Chris). Loving Nanny to Rylan and Ella. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy (nee Bowering) and Theodore Beland and sister Diane Beland. She also leaves her brothers, Mike (Elaine), Pat (Valerie) and Albert. She will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. At her request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dora hated hospitals and told me so many times.
At least she is at peace. She didn't like to beholden to anyone. She looked after herself.

So very sorry for the loss of your mom and nanny. Dora and I spent a lot of time together and had many good times while raising our young families. I know your mom is at peace now and happy to be reunited with her beloved Andre.
