Fay Powers

Our dear mother Fay Powers passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 66 years old. She was the daughter of the late Sarah Buzzell.

She leaves to mourn her children Jennifer Michaud (Scott Reasbeck), Natacha Michaud (François Racicot) and Sylvain Willie Girard; her grand-children Zachary and Tyler Reasbeck and Nicole and Faith Michaud; her brothers Myron Powers, Norman Trew (Debbie), Brian Powers and Terry Powers and her sister Joyce Powers.

She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and her close friends Nicole, Marlene, Brenda, Fran and many others.

After her long struggle with lung cancer, she left peacefully and full of love, surrounded by all her close family.

There will be a celebration of her life on mother’s day. Family will contact the guests for further details.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative care unit at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital for the excellent care given to their mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Research Society would be greatly appreciated.

Notre chère mère Fay Powers est décédée le 11 février 2023 à l’âge de 66 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Sarah Buzzell.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Jennifer Michaud (Scott Reasbeck), Natacha Michaud (François Racicot) et Sylvain Willie Girard; ses petits-enfants Zachary et Tyler Reasbeck et Nicole et Faith Michaud; ses frères Myron Powers, Norman Trew (Debbie), Brian Powers et Terry Powers et sa sœur Joyce Powers.

Elle laisse aussi plusieurs neveux, nièces, ses amies proches Nicole, Marlene, Brenda et Fran ainsi que plusieurs autres amis.

Après sa longue bataille contre le cancer du poumon, elle est partie de bonne humeur et pleine d’amour entourée de toute sa famille proche.

Afin de respecter les volontés de Mme Powers, il y aura une célébration de sa vie à la fête des mères. La famille communiquera avec les invités pour les détails.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel des soins palliatifs de l’Hôtel-Dieu, particulièrement le Dre Audrey Dubé pour l’accompagnement et les bons soins.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société de recherche sur le cancer seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.
