It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Arthur Blouin on October 30, 2026.
Beloved husband of the late Estelle Fortier. Father of Patricia (Michel Noble), Victoria, Daniel (Line Massie), Elizabeth, Stephen, Andrea (Richard Cookman) and Holly.
Dear grandfather of Rick (Nathalie), Emilie (Richard), David (Kendra), Juno (Anton) and Shawn Noble (Pres), Kathryn and Jennifer Baldwin (Sidi), Kevin Plunkett, Jeffery and Angela Cleary, Amanda and Leeanne Blouin-Cookman. Predeceased by grandsons Anthony and Phillip.
Great-grandfather of Kristen, Madeline, Evangeline, Graedon, Genevieve, Ash, Gabrielle, Benjamin, Liam and Jamal.
Brother to the late Lucien, late Florence (late Oswald), late Lucille (late Gordon), late Jules (Peggy), Rachel (Harold) and Raymond (Carole). Brother-in-law to Shirley (late Rev. John), Lynne (late Raymond), David (Ellie) and Judy (late Paul).
He also leaves to mourn many family and friends.
Visitation will take place on November 20, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, QC as well as November 21 at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. The internment will take place in Claremont Cemetery, Danville.
The family wishes to thank Dad’s billiard partners, the staff and many friends at the Foyer Wales Home and the Centre de Jour in Richmond who brightened his days and added to his many stories.

Frère de feu Lucien, de feu Florence (feu Oswald), de feu Lucille (feu Gordon), de feu Jules (Peggy), Rachel (Harold) et Raymond (Carole). Beau-frère de Shirley (feu Rév. John), Lynne (feu Raymond), David (Ellie) et Judy (feu Paul). Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux membres de la famille et amis. La veillée aura lieu le vendredi 20 novembre, de 19h à 21h au Salon Funéraire Cass, 295 Principale S., Richmond, QC, ainsi que le samedi 21 novembre à 13h, suivi d’un service à 14h. L’inhumation suivra les funérailles au cimetière de Claremont, Danville.
La famille tient à remercier les partenaires de billard de papa, le personnel et les nombreux amis du Foyer Wales Home et du Centre de Jour à Richmond qui ont égayé ses journées et enrichi ses nombreuses histoires.
