Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the CHUS Fleurimont, on Monday, August 20, 2018 in her 84th year. Germaine was born on February 24, 1935 in Rexton, New Brunswick, daughter of Ida (Vautour) and Alexander Richard. She was the beloved wife of Vance Patterson for 60 years and loving mother to Kimberley (Robert Dean) and Wendy (Terry Barrett). She was a cherished grandmother of Brandon MacDonald, Zachary and Joshua Sauvé, and step-grandmother of Chelsey Barrett, Kyle Barrett, Ryan Dean, Christopher Dean, Brittaney Dean. She also leaves to mourn her sisters : Joanne (Brian Walsh), Marie (the late Edmond Babin), Loretta (the late Larry Jennings), and brothers, Vincent (the late Shirley), Paul (Nelly) as well as, a long list of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 3006, College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
