Dear Mrs. Garneau, Micheal, Suzie and the family, Please accept our deepest condolences upon learning the news of the passing of your beloved husband, father and grandfather Jack. It seems impossible to realise that one will not be able to enjoy his wise and agreeable physical presence. As long as we can remember, Jack had always been a respectful and much respected member of his community, the Sawyerville community. His long professional life as an amazing educator and efficient school administrator has touched the lives of hundreds of children, teenagers and colleagues. A long-time member of the Sawyerville Town Council, he has left an indelible mark on municipal affairs. An optimist at heart, he understood the importance of compromise in daily life. Jack was a generous and thoughtful individual, a model of righteousness. In short, he was a model that we all need to emulate. My sincere condolences to the entire family. I mostly remember Jack as my principal at CHS. He was dedicated, firm and fair. I know that he was a much valued member of the Sawyerville community. Godspeed to him!

As far back as i can remember Mr Jack was our very good neighbor next to my parents home. He could have good reasons to complain about our german shepherd barking all day long and myself riding the motorcycle on the lawn all summer before i got my driver licences a year later! He was a patient man. Always good to have a talk with this very smart man. Souvenirs when he would come to visit Mr.Jack senior and his mom next to Simone and I we could hear them laugh with their hearts. My sincere condolences to the entire Garneau family at this sad time. Jack was my principal at CHS in the 60’s and a fellow Sherbrooke Snowshoe Club member as well as fellow member of the Cookshire Cemetery Association. He was always the gentleman, firm but fair. We shared some great stories and interest in our family trees. Rest in peace sir.
