Janet   (Reeves) Stevenson

Janet (Reeves) Stevenson, age 76, wife of the late Douglas Stevenson passed away surrounded by her family at CHUS Hôtel Dieu on June 28th 2013. Daughter of the late Oscar Reeves and Knetha Hand.

She is lovingly survived by heur children Rob (Louise), Brenda (Reay), Darlene (Bryan), Nancy.

Grandchildren, Matthew (Sandra), Melissa, Josh (Vanessa), Kylie (Tyler), Brad, Mitch, Hailie, Isabelle (Stephane) and Frank.

Great Grandchildren Lucas, Leah, Theo, Sasha, Tyler, Audrey-Ann, Charlotte and Alexis.

Sister-in-law Velma (Richard), Janet and nephews Ken (Sophie), Tim (Viv) and many other family and friends.

To express our greatest appreciation to the compassionate and devoted staff at the CHUS Hôtel Dieu, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the CHUS Bowen hospital foundation.

A graveside service will be held at the Marlington Cemetary on July 6th 2013, at 11am. Officiated by Paster Mike Desena.

She was a kind and loving person and will be sadly missed by many.

So sorry to read of the death of your mother. She is now reunited with your dad. I saw both of them last when I attended an auction in Graniteville across the road from their house, about a dozen years ago. We chatted. I wanted to ask them if they had finally installed heating to the upstairs bedrooms, but didn't. I'll never forget Brenda sleeping in her room with the window wide open in the dead of winter, and Rob's room in the attic with the wind blowing through it. Fond memories of your family and the homestead, and my sincere condolences to all of you.
