It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden, yet peaceful passing of Bob, at 2:21 pm, on July 20, 2026, at the CHUS Fleurimont at the age of 59, with his beloved wife Natalie Shadbolt by his side. Bob had been at the hospital only for a few hours before his passing.
Bob was born on June 23, 1967, and throughout his 59 years he touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity and love for his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, the late Walter Statton and the late Bernadette Smith.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Natalie Shadbolt, and his treasured son Tyler Statton, who were the center of his world. He is also lovingly remembered by his two sisters, as well as his many half-siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bob will be deeply missed by his in-laws who welcomed him as one of their own and shared many treasured moments with him over the years. His warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.
The family extends their heart-felt gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses and staff at the CHUS Fleurimont for the care and kindness shown to Bob and his family during his final hours.
