At Magog Hospital with his son by his side, Ronald passed away peacefully, on December 9, 2023 at the age of 82. Husband to Maple Alex and son to the late George and Ella Lyonnais.
He will be deeply missed by his children: Shawn (Tanya Simoneau) and Paul (Diane Joice); Grampy to Sabastian (Naomi), Zachery (Briana), Shawna, Joshua, Michael, Miranda (Justin), Josianne (Bryan) and Chantal (Richard); Great Grampy to Selena, Sophia, Sabastian Jr., Lily, Presley, Hailee and Francis. He also leaves to mourn his brothers: Roger, Donald and Armand, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the people who came to see Ronald in his final moments and they greatly appreciate all the help they received from the CLSC and the staff at the Magog Hospital, it was their kindness and compassion that made this time a little easier for the family.
A graveside service will take place in the spring.
