Terry James Lavers
Sept 21, 1950- April 1, 2026
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father, Terry. After several years of prolonged illness, he was relieved finally of his pain peacefully at home in his sleep.
He is survived by Joy, Patricia and Jason (and spouse Norma), children of ex-wife Claire (nee Bechard); he was father figure to Joel Collet (ex-wife Gervaise nee Dubois) and to his grandchildren Thomas and Andrew Fox. Priorly deceased by his mother Leslie June (nee Carroll) and father Earl Lynn Lavers, brother Gary and sister Dawn, he is also survived by his brothers Bob, Grant and Ralph and his sisters Jade and Colleen, all whom he loved dearly.
As per his wishes no funeral service will be held, but a celebration of life will be held later this spring (place to be determined), where we will reminisce about our special times together.
We would like to thank all the CLSC and Aide a domicile staff who cared for him over the years. Special acknowledgment to his nurse Vanessa Therrien, and his support workers Betty Stairs and Angelica Walker who aided tremendously in his time of need.
Terry was a unique individual who cherished his freedom in all eras of his life. A well-read man with a great sense of humour, who loved God and all his creation, he will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.
