(Judith) Gale Deslongchamps, 77, passed away in her home on February 24, 2025, in Stanstead, Quebec.
Born on January 19, 1948, in Montreal, Quebec, Gale lived a life marked by resilience and individuality. She had a youthful spark, easy-going nature, and a great sense of humor. She loved music, dancing, and socializing with family and friends. Her laugh was unique and contagious.
Gale is survived by her children: Timothy Jones and his wife Theresa of Waterbury, Connecticut (USA), Rodney Jones of Halton Hills, Ontario, Lisa Weileder and her boyfriend Art Couch of Chatham, Ontario, and Kerrie Jones and her fiancé Michael Jurchuk of Woodstock Ontario. Gale also leaves her sister, Barbara Deslongchamps of Fitch Bay, Quebec, and brother Daniel Delongchamps and his wife Laura of Gatineau, Quebec. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren: Nelson Jones, (RJ) Rodney Jones, Jr., Christopher Weileder and his wife Samantha, Casey Weileder, Shawn Weileder and his girlfriend Jade, and Lindsay Trenholme. Additionally, Gale leaves three great-grandchildren: Wesley Weileder, Alexander Weileder, and Tristyn Weileder, along with several nieces and nephews and other extended family. Gale will be missed by her long-time and close friend, William (Bill) Buzzell. Gale was predeceased by her parents, Jean Paul Deslongchamps and Effie Drover.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Details will be announced at a later date.
