It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley King, beloved wife of the late Frank Bryan. Beloved mother of Larry (Joanne) and John (Daniel). Cherished Nan of Frank (Kristen) and Amanda (Chris). Loving Great Nan of Brent, Brianna, Kari, Lyli, Avery, Quinn, Lincoln, and Sawyer, and dear friend of Sandy Card.
Special thanks to Dr. Margarit and the nurses and staff of the Coaticook Hospital for their compassionate care during Shirley’s illness. Thank you also to Dr. Bramwich and the 7th floor staff at CHUS.
A private family funeral service will be held at St Barnabas Church in North Hatley at 2:00 pm, Aug. 28, 2021. Burial will follow at 2:45 pm in Reedsville Cemetery, Capelton Rd., open to family and friends. Luncheon to follow at the North Hatley Legion.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Heart Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
